Serving our loyal customers for over 95 years

The Jackson Comfort story starts in the early 1920's when J. W. Jackson started his own tinning (sheet metal) business in his Cleveland garage called J. W. Jackson Company.

As his business grew, he began installing and servicing furnaces (air conditioners did not exist) and was known for his honesty, quality installations and repairs, and great customer service.

By the mid 1970's, J. W. had retired, Paul (J. W.'s son) had taken over, and the business was moved to Twinsburg under the new name, Jackson Comfort Systems Inc. Paul's sons, Mark and Gary, would soon join the business with their wives, Pat and Fonda, joining later.

With the  growing popularity and affordability of high efficiency furnaces and whole-house air conditioning, Jackson Comfort soon became the largest heating and cooling company in the area.

In the 1990's, the company grew even more with the acquisition of XXth Century Furnace. A new building was custom built to accommodate the growth in Northfield Center that included a showroom, parts counter, and training room for technicians to stay up to date on the latest HVAC technology.

As times have changed, customers' needs have changed, and Jackson Comfort has always responded.

That's why we offer:
Fast service
 - even when we're swamped. We do everything we can to get you scheduled as soon as possible.
Knowledgeable technicians - when you are having issues, they will be able to explain the problem and how they will fix it
Friendly, courteous, and honest employees - we know you don't want just anyone in your home, so we only hire the best of the best
Priority service for our G$P (Guaranteed Savings Maintenance Plan) members - we get you to the front of the pack when it's busy if you're a member

Today, Jackson Comfort is a fourth generation family business and is still one of the largest heating and cooling companies in Northeast Ohio. But we have not outgrown our roots: providing honesty, quality installations and repairs, and great customer service!

The customer is always our #1 priority, so we tackle each problem one at a time, so nothing gets missed. Our technicians make every effort to ensure your system operates safely and efficiently. And when you call for service, you get a live Jackson Comfort employee who wants to help. No machines!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We look forward to serving you.

Brad, Streetsboro

Jackson Comfort went above and beyond to get our tankless water heater installed before a holiday weekend so we would not be without hot water for 4 days. (We had come home from vacation to find our hot water heater toasted)

Bill, Medina

Jackson has been our HVAC service provider since 1984. They have always been courteous, timely, and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend them to any acquaintances to handle their A/C, heating needs.

David, Twinsburg

Jackson comfort is the only contractor I use and recommend. They are top-notch and A-1 in my opinion. Everyone there from the ladies who answer the phones and set appointments, to the technicians are great professionals!

Kathy, Northfield

With Jackson Comfort, we have no heating and air-conditioning concerns.

John, Hudson

Jackson installed my furnace and air-conditioner 15 years ago. I would definitely recommend them to friends. Excellent service.

Nancy, Macedonia

Jackson Comfort has serviced my furnace for years and I wouldn’t call anyone else.
